Children's Convention (Ages 4 - 11)
Zapped! Plug Into God's Power
Saturday, April 13, 2013
Carr Ministriess will present this year’s Children’s Convention, for children ages 4-11. Register your child(ren) when you register for the Convention. Space is on a first-come, first-served basis. Our CHEA Children’s Convention theme is Zapped! Plug Into God's Power. Participants will discover the wonders of electricity while exploring the lives of those who were changed by God’s power. Children will enjoy a range of fun science experiments, awesome hands-on projects, crafts, and exciting games. These activities will help bring the exciting world of science to life with these fun electricity experiments with our own Professor N-R-G.
We’ll never be who we are designed to be until we learn how to plug into God’s power, grace, and love. When we learn that, our lives become zapped. Children will take a journey with Peter as he walks on the water with Jesus, finds money in the mouth of a fish, and become a fisher of men after being zapped with God’s power.
Jon and Debra Carr have been married 37 years and are veteran home educators. Their home education journey began in 1983 through 1998 when their youngest son graduated from South Bay Faith Academy’s Home Education Program. Even though their children are now adults, Jon and Debra have continued their involvement and support of home education programs. Together they’ve worked for close to 30 years serving in ministry to children and families
All children attending the Children’s Convention must have a completed medical release form when checking in at the Children’s Convention. When registering online, all you need to do is check the medical release agreement box until you arrive at the event, at which time you will be asked for your signature. If you pre-register or register through any other means, you will need to provide a printed/signed medical release form before you can leave your children at the Children’s Convention.
See rules for children in the Convention for a full list of guidelines.
*Please note: The Children's Convention does not include lunch. Parents must pick up their children for lunch by 12:00 p.m. and return them by 1:00 p.m.
