Living Inside Out

Friday and Saturday, July 17 & 18, 2015

Living Inside Out is this year's theme for the CHEA Children's Convention. Carr Ministries will present this year's Children's Convention for kids age 4-11. Focus Scripture: Jesus said, “Everyone who hears my Words and puts them into practice is like a wise man.” Jesus shared so many amazing stories in the Bible and there is so much we can learn from them. Register your child(ren) when you register for the Convention. Space is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jesus used these accounts in scripture to teach us just how God wants us to lead our lives. With the Living Inside Out program, children will learn that with God’s help they can do what God says. Yes, they can. Living Inside Out takes a look at the parables that Jesus told and how we can take the main beliefs from these stories and put them into practice in our lives every day.

Here is a list of the biblical accounts and stories that we will share this year:

  • Turn it Up! Sand vs. Rock–Matthew 7:24-27
  • The Good Samaritan Luke–10:25-37
  • Bigger Barns–Luke 12:13-21
  • Don’t Worry–Matthew 6:25-34
  • The Prodigal Son–Luke 15:11-31
  • The Light–Matthew 5:13-16

God created a magnificent beautiful world, and that beauty and intricacy extends far beyond what humans can see unassisted. This includes plant and animal anatomy to cells and proteins and even down to the level of atoms. Through our hands-on science workshop the children will venture amazingly beyond to explore God’s master creation of worlds within worlds of detail that will be explored through the use of microscopes and other see-through models and tools. In addition, children will be exposed to a wide range of performing arts, music, and dance, arts and crafts activities and many other creative ways that show what God does as they focus on Living Inside Out.

Children’s Medical Releases

All children attending the Children’s Convention must have a completed medical release form when checking in at the Children’s Convention. When registering online, all you need to do is check the medical release agreement box until you arrive at the event, at which time you will be asked for your signature. If you pre-register or register through any other means, you will need to provide a printed/signed medical release form before you can leave your children at the Children’s Convention.

*Please note: The Children's Convention does not include lunch. Parents must pick up their children for lunch by 12:30 p.m. and return them by 1:30 p.m.
