Convention 2017

Children's Convention (Ages 4 - 11)

Program Information

Children's Convention 2017
July 14-15, 2017
Ages 4-11
Pasadena Convention Center
Just $35 per child per day

Our theme this year is Wonderfully Made: Made by God, made for a relationship with Jesus, and made to love others.

At the Children’s Convention, children will discover how the Creator of all things created us to know and love Him. Age-appropriate activities are built into our great curriculum topics. Our younger aged students will have an array of hands-on arts and crafts, story-telling, music, and puppetry that will pique their interest as they design and create memorable items to take home. Our older children will have the exciting experience as they take part in activities that incorporate learning modes for this age group. But our flair will keep them excitedly engaged as they become the participants in their individual and collective teams for great prizes and rewards. And what kid doesn't like to win?

Memory Verse:
"Let your light shine so others can see it. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will bring glory to your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16 NIrV.

Here is a list of the biblical accounts and stories that we will share this year:

  • Amazingly and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:13-16)?
    Bottom line: God made you.
  • Jesus heals the blind man (John 9)
Bottom line: God made you to trust Him.
  • Jesus teaches Nicodemus (John 3:1-21)?
Bottom line: God made you to follow Jesus.
  • The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)?
Bottom line: God made you to help others.
  • Salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16)?
Bottom line: God made you to shine.

Each Bible lessons, costume character, song and creative activity is designed to illustrate that each of us is wonderfully made by God. When registering your child, be sure to complete a Medical Release Form.
