“I’d come to the CHEA Convention if it didn’t cost so much.”
Well, we heard that, from many of you. OK, simple equation. Lower ticket price equals greater attendance, right? We’ve substantially lowered the 2016 convention prices so that it’s easier for families to attend. The only way this works, though, is if more families actually come to the CHEA Convention.
This is where the rubber meets the road. This year it doesn’t cost so much. In fact, it costs less than it has in more than 20 years. It costs less than the other guys.
Tell your friends. Encourage your group members to support the organization that serves California’s homeschoolers–all year long–by attending this year’s Convention. Pre-registration prices end May 27. Historically, the Annual Convention proceeds have been the major source of funding for the ministry. This year it won’t be. This year we just want to see it cover its costs. The rest of the year? We’ll talk about that soon, but right now, sign up for the Convention.
Can’t attend this year? Life in a busy family happens. Maybe we should say, “Crazy happens.” We understand. Become a CHEA member if you’re not already. It’s just $35 per year, for new Members and renewals.
