Meet Our Speakers
Will Estrada
Will Estrada works at HSLDA defending homeschool parents and students in nine states. He received his juris doctorate from Oak Brook College of Law and is licensed as an attorney in California and the District of Columbia. He is also licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, and the First and Eleventh Federal Circuit Courts of Appeals. Will has had a rewarding and diverse career, including serving as HSLDA’s federal lobbyist, running a pro bono legal clinic, working as a career civil servant at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Office for Civil Rights, and serving as the president of ParentalRights.org. Will and his wife, both homeschool grauduates themselves, homeschool their two sons in northern Virginia.
Angela Lasch
Angela and her husband, Scott, have been married since 1993. Shortly after their first son was born in 1994, they knew the Lord was calling them to homeschool. It took a while to answer that call, but finally, in 2002, with the promise of Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” they began homeschooling. Twenty years and three boys later, they completed their homeschool journey and graduated their youngest son in 2022.
Angela loves encouraging families on their homeschool journeys as CHEA’s Executive Director and Support Network Director. In addition to working at CHEA, she is a administrator of Cedar House, a PSP homeschool group in Southern California. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies Degree from Grand Canyon University in April 2022 and is a registered instructor with the Institute of Excellence in Writing (IEW). She loves reading, teaching, and all things related to Christian private homeschool education.

Hear the latest from Sacramento and what’s on the horizon that could affect our homeschooling groups and/or families.
How to Disagree Without Being Disagreeable, Will Estrada
In this talk geared towards homeschool group leaders, Will shares tips, best practices, and what the Bible says on conflict, interpersonal relationships, and how to lead a team through inspiration. Whether you are leading two people or two hundred, attendees will come away with practical insights to help in leadership roles.
Always Abounding, Angela Lasch
Staying steadfast and immovable when everything around you seems out of control is difficult. Angela will share how to “always abound” as you balance caring for your family and serving the families in your homeschool community.
Principles of Motivation, Andrew Pudewa
A life-long student of motivation, Andrew Pudewa has organized fundamental ideas of motivation into categories: four forms of relevancy, three laws of motivation, and two secret weapons.
