Workshops

Homeschooling without Regrets, Rhonda Stoppe
Regrets? What does she mean “homeschooling without regrets?” I hear ya, friend. And I’m glad you asked. Because in the many years that my husband and I have ministered to homeschooling families, we’ve learned a thing or two. You get one shot at this homeschooling, parenting thing, so you need insights from people who have walked the path ahead of you. There is a way to homeschool your kids so that one day when you look back you won’t be wishing for a do-over. Rhonda is here to show you how. In this session, she will unpack Seven Ways to Homeschool without Regrets.

Learning to REST While Doing All the Things, Rhonda Stoppe
Homeschool and housework and meal prep – Oh My! There is just so much work to be done when you educate your kids at home. Can I get a witness? And yet, when you’re doing all the things, it’s easy to fall into survival mode and miss opportunities to savor the moments. In this session, Rhonda will unpack four vital steps to teach you how to rest in a way that guards against burn out and refreshes your spirit.

10 Steps to Starting Your Homeschool Journey, Dena Bless
You’ve decided (or may still be on the fence a bit!) to do this scary thing called “”homeschooling.” Now you’re wondering, “What next? Can I really do this?” You probably have lots of questions of how best to proceed for your family. Join Dena as she helps you with the next steps, as well as some additional hints and tips, to aid you on this exciting journey – whatever age your children may be.

Raising Christian Children for an Unchristian World, Ben Curtis
Using his trademark humor and insight, Ben will share about his experience as a homeschool dad and, by God’s grace, some things he’s learned along the way. Things he wishes someone had told him earlier in his homeschooling journey. If you sometimes wonder how to teach your children wisdom and discernment in an increasingly confused culture, this is the workshop for you.

Moms Panel, Dads Panel
Get your homeschool questions answered! Experienced homeschool parents from different walks of life who live in Central California will share what they’ve learned along the way. Separate sessions for Moms & Dads.
