Dr. Julie Goodman-Bowling Navigating Working Outside the Home While Homeschooling

My colleague Yvonne Thai (homeschool mama, author, and teacher) and I may offer some wisdom from our experiences as being full-time working mamas and homeschoolers. We address how we prioritize, organize, and balance our callings - a primary calling (wife and mother) and secondary calling (teaching) - and how God has used these in my life to help my family and my students. We’ll share how rewarding both experiences are (homeschooling and working), but also how the danger of immediate gratification from work can be tempting; homeschooling and investing in my family is for the long-term … and results take time.
