Life After High School Mini-Con

Navigate High School & Beyond

Parents and their teens are invited to attend this FREE, fun, informative morning on navigating high school and beyond. There are many different pathways open to homeschooled students after high school, and our goal is to give you an overview of several of them.

Our desire is to show parents that not only is it possible to homeschool through high school, but you can be successful and prepare your student for whatever God may have for him after graduation, including college. Teens are encouraged to come to learn more about the possibilities as well as the college admissions process.

This event is FREE and open to the public, though registration is required.

Ready! Set! Launch! – Taxiing for a Successful Takeoff!

We all want our children to enter adulthood and accomplish something significant with their lives. Launching is a process that is difficult for both parent and child, but it is essential for early success. Relationship principles and a handful of tools will be discussed that can move them away from the jetway, down the tarmac, to the point of takeoff. Cheer them on as they take off and soar!

Roger & Jan Smith
Parenting Matters Now

Dr. Roger and Jan Smith feel that despite their successes in medicine and business in their community in Louisiana, their four adult children are their greatest accomplishment. Choosing to homeschool from the very start, and continuing through high school, the Smiths say this made all the difference in their family. The strong relationship the children share with one another and with their parents show the grace of God, and that homeschooling is worth the investment of life and energy. Roger is author of Parenting with Influence and has a video blog and podcast (Parenting Matters Now).
